Events

The Events Team became operational in 2002 as a result of the ever-increasing number of events at which EMAS were asked to provide Paramedic cover.  Some of the events covered include those arranged by local football, cricket and rugby clubs, local councils and entertainment venues.

The events team is funded by the individually negotiated contracts and agreements between EMAS and the relevant organisation.

Corporate Communications and Media Releases

Good communication is central to the work of the East Midlands Ambulance Service and we have a Corporate Communications Strategy in place which lays down the framework that we work within to effectively manage internal and external communications.

The strategy identifies how we manage the Trust’s day-to-day operational activities as we improve our service delivery, engage with our stakeholders and build our reputation. The document:

-   Sets out the aims of our communications.

-  Clearly identifies the values upon which our communications are built, and the principles which govern our

    communications.

-  Shows the ways in which our communications will be delivered.

-  Sets out how we will judge the success of our communications.

A copy of the Corporate Communications Strategy can be here.
